I am never going to grow up

The oldest is 10 1/2 and developing. I have no idea what if anything she has been told about periods, sex or anything.

I tried to start a conversation with her and she stopped me cold in my tracts telling me over and over " I am never going to grow up." She refusing to talk she refuses to listen. Needless to say the conversation went no where. I have tried three times.

Perhaps talking to school firefight help. Is there a possibility she witnessed bio in exact. There might be deeper problems that need therapy.

She knows. I called her other grandmother today. Not the crazy dead one but the step grandmother that she lived with for two years. Gd knows all about periods. Her grandmother told her and recently her 12 year old cousin has talked to her. Her cousin started her period at the age of 9 so her grandmother had talked to her before she came to live with me since my Gd was 9 at the time and living with her bio.

She was given the same reaction I was but she still pushed on . Gd was grossed out by the thought and said it will never happen to her. OH joy but at least she knows.
