Hello... where to even start? New grandma to mom real quick..

hello scole. that is as fine a start as any. i'm listening, if you care to keep going. . .

i got to be a grandma for six years before i inherited my 3 grandchildren in 2019. i frequently feel the transition from grandma to mother amounted to the immaculate conception of triplets at age 65. i loved being a grandma and quickly grew a strong dislike for the grandmother platitudes during the transition. caregiving and grandmothering are not even close to the same gig.

Same here. Iv'e been raising my grandson for seven years now. I'm 57. years old and have one child left he's 17. It was riugh at first because my granson was put in foster homes so when he finally was awarded to me he had a lot of issues . It wore me out but we got through them. He;s so much better now. I wish you the best. Your grandchild is so bessed to have you

    I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying.  I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there.  I think that I will start writing in it again.  It's so therapeutic.
