Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

I am thinking about trying this for my duodenitis. I read it should be taken on a bit of bread half hour before before meals, but I like to drink slippery elm about an hour so before eating & guessing that if the slippery elm has already coated the digestive tract then it might affect the action of the honey as the idea of taking honey on bread is so it can act in a localized area.
It seems there are not enough hours in the day to take the things I feel I ought to take between meals!
How do others take slippery elm & manuka honey?
Thanks in advance for any info.
In looking at the Holland & Barrett website, it appears one can't order if living in the U.S.(?) Is anyone aware of other sources? I'll keep doing a search, also.
GwenY- Happy to hear all is well. Good for you with the honey. Yes, things are good here too. Slowly making progress but day by day, it does seem to be getting a little easier....
