Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

If you can tolerate aspirin (aspirin+citric acid), and haven't tried alka-selzer, you should. It might help your headaches as well as minor acid indigestion and heartburn. I only use a single tablet per episode; the recommended dosage of 2 tablets me nauseus. Pure water worsens GERD episodes for me.
Viagra gave me headaches and vertigo. Too much blood leaving the big head for the little one, I guess. LOL
