I need some plot development ideas for a book I'm writing. Here's the lead in:
------
@1630 she texted me, asking for gas money.
"Are u at work? I have to work in a couple hours I don't have any gas barely I was wondering if u had 20$ by chance haven't been able to get any massages in I'm sorry to ask was just seeing"
She agreed to meet me at the townhouse @1730. I asked her to call me before she left the apartment to come over. @1800 she's no show. I try calling. No answer. I drive to her apt. Her vehicle is gone. Change of plan, I guess.
I go to grocery store to get some things, but before I get started she calls. She is finally at the townhouse and needed gas to get to work. I leave the store immediately and instruct her to meet me at a gas station between us.
"I WANT TO SLAP YOU"
AT THE GAS STATION, she asks me how I'm doing. I say I want to slap you. She says why. Because you didn't follow the program and the list is so long that you would be late for work before I got finished with it.
We talked while the car filled up. $75. She tried to hug me as she was leaving, but I took her face in my hands, looked into her eyes, and said kiss me. She jerked away saying why would I want to do that?
Because you love me? I replied. We both laughed.

What happens next? Thanks in advance for any and every idea.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Is she a user?
Is he abusive when she doesn't want him?
How do they truly feel about one another and what can it lead to?
I guess "she" needed gas money for a week's worth at $75, and you needed to kiss her, although you really wanted to [slap her/smash her] whatever it takes, to make sure you get your massage!
Sounds like a horrible, service-driven transaction, and not a love-driven one. I'm glad Johnnycake isn't like most men willing to put up with nonsense to get some "sheng sheng" if you know what I mean.
I think it depends in what you're into writing
Will it be a love story or drama?
Or a thriller?
