Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

Will it every go away? That depends on whats causing it. For me it was on over use of pain killers that damaged my stomach. If your case is similar than yes, it will go away. Its been about 9 months since it first really hit me and i couldn't eat for a week. It took me about 7 months to physically recover.
That said, its the emotional and mental strain you need to look out for. I started suffering from depression and anxiety. I cant go into to much detail as id be here all night but my advice would be this.
1. Keep a journal of all your pain and nausea, i dont know why but writing down how you feel helps.
2. For the first few months you'll start to feel better and start doing more only to get sick again. Dont push yourself to hard, but do push yourself.
3. See a therapist. Dont waste your time or money on doctors, there's noting they can do. The only cure is time.
4. Try to remain positive, keep telling yourself it will get better.
Message me if you need any more advice.
Shane.
