Just to chime in with my two cents, if you question how effective and safe medical grade marijuana can be, I encourage you to watch the CNN documentary "Weed" by neurosurgeon Sanjay Gupta, MD to see how helpful it has been in treating children with epilepsy (medical grade, high CBD cannabis, not street corner high THC pot). An entire strain, "Charlotte's Web," was named for one of those children. Also, depending on where you live, high CBD medical cannabis can even be prescribed in sublingual form, so if you prefer not to vaporize, you can spray it under your tongue. From my understanding it has been shown to help numerous medical ailments without the horrific side effects of pharmaceuticals, which is why totally legitimate, well respected physicians often prescribe it in states where it is legal to do so. Just my opinion.

How did you go about getting it? I went to my doctor (I'm in Canada) and he said that he would need a license to prescribe it.

I have contacted a dispensery in the city and they told me to call there thursday, so I will see how that goes. Was just wondering the process though.

Hi! just wanted to say that I've been suffering from chronic daily stomach pain for 5 years now since stomach surgery left me without a pyloric valve. What I have is called bile gastritis, and there is no cure. I do use Carafate and some other herbal supplements like slippery elm. BUT marijuana has been the only thing that has helped my pain. I've tried other drugs (donnatal and PPIs) that don't help and have have much more severe side effects. I live a very healthy lifestyle: no junk food, plenty of exercise and rest, and good stress management. All of these have helped prevent some pain, but not all. In my state, medical marijuana is illegal, so I'm hoping this will change soon. Just like other medicines, people's bodies will respond differently. It may work some, and not for others. But, it has been the ONLY thing that's worked for the pain without causing worse side effects for me.

I have endured gastritis since 2005 and was recently diagnosed in Feb 2016 with it...I also have a family member who is urging me to look into trying cbd oil and wanted to know if this was real...I have read testimonials online of cbd oil curing many major illnesses including shrinking cancerous tumors in mice... I do not live in a medical marijuana state...However, I do Know that cbd oil is also in rhododendron plants, and flax plants... Also how long did you use the cheeba chews...and do you have to stay using cheeba chews for long term use or short term? I've been suffering from chronic stomach pain for over a year. Burning, belching, twisting pain to the point it interfered with my day. I had a scope done a few days ago which confirmed gastritis. I don't drink , smoke or eat crappy food so I'm confused as to why this is happening to me.
Could it be my stress? A trauma I had a couple yrs ago?
I'm on nexium now. I just started last week 40mg daily. How long will this take to heal? Is this going to last forever? This is awful!
