Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
How did you go about getting it? I went to my doctor (I'm in Canada) and he said that he would need a license to prescribe it.
I have contacted a dispensery in the city and they told me to call there thursday, so I will see how that goes. Was just wondering the process though.
Could it be my stress? A trauma I had a couple yrs ago?
I'm on nexium now. I just started last week 40mg daily. How long will this take to heal? Is this going to last forever? This is awful!
