Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Can't wait until some more research is done; its crazy all the therapeutic benefits MJ has!
THC is the active ingredient to get you high. CBD is removed from the plant and used in medicine, no high at all.
I hope no one is discouraged from trying cannabis to cure this awful illness.
Here's what I find wrong with it (please forgive my rudeness
but I want to set the facts straight as this could be a
very good medicine for those suffering.)
1- Smoking anything is bad for you. weed included. if you
suffer from gastritis you should not be smoking. smoking
causes irritation to the stomach lining. smoking anything
at all. you should be using a vaporizor or eating consumables.
the lungs are not designed to inhale combusted material of any
kind. inhaling anything into your body can cause cancer, and
many other illnesses. The fact of the matter is that most anything on earth, when combusted is cancer causing. try smoking a tomato plant for a couple of months and see where you end up.
2-weed does not cut off oxygen flow. inhaling combusted
materials though might have that effect.
3- you do not become dependent on marijuana. there are
dozens of scientific tests that prove that marijuana is
less addictive than coffee. it is only addictive on the
same level as eating, masturbation and watching netflix.
the act of doing it is enjoyable and causes a habit like
addiction but it does not create dependency.
4-all the things you said that were part of your lifestyle..
not eating enough, drinking, and smoking tobacco mixed with
marijuana. those are terrible for your stomach and insides.
smoking tobacco with your weed (poppers) is seriously
unhealthy because you inhale the tobacco so deeply. That lifestlye
and those things all probably stacked up to give you gastritis. especially the alcohol and tobacco. I'm pretty convinced Marijuana
alone would not have caused this.
5-marijuana is not just given to patients with severe pain
and those who are already dying. People with back problems,
intestinal problems and etc are given it. cancer patients who are given weed, are not given weed because they are dying and are now allowed to get high or something. They are usually given marijuana to allow them to combat the intense nausea and weight loss that comes with chemo-therapy. Cannabis is a great cure for nausea and gives people their appetite back, while also soothing the stomach, allowing them to eat and gain weight.
6-medical marijuana is different than conventional weed that you buy off the street. some of it will not come even close to getting you high. some of it still will. it has completely different effects. its chemical makeup is very different. people like marijuana because the THC in it makes them high. medical marijuana has much lower THC content and more of the medicating compounds like CBD.
To anyone with doubt, here are some things to check out:
watch this video : (copy and paste it to your browser)

and here is an article about marijuana's healing effects
posted by the huffington post. it is not posted by some
hippie website.

Marijuana has incredible medicinal value. 20 states have
made medical marijuana legal and A lot of other countries
as well. If it did not have medical use, this would not
be happening.
That long post being said, you have to keep in mind though
that every one experiences everything different and this
might not be the thing for you.
After watching that video i posted and reading the hundreds of articles and studies that have been done by universities like harvard and etc, anyone who denies marijuana's healing abilities and sees it simply as a drug is very misinformed.
I think you are just a person who is against marijuana, and are just making things up. The fact that you refer to it as a drug and and say things like "if you want to use drugs, then fine i wont stop you" makes me very suspicious of your goal here. Most everyone these days can agree that marijuana is not "drugs"
