Tomorrow is my day...

Hi everyone.Tomorrow is my surgery day. I go in at 7:50am. I can't wait. I am so excited! Plus I lost 8 more lbs being on the liquid diet. I'm so happy! The past few days I went back and forth about if this is the right thing for me. I know it is, but you still have those thoughts in your head. But I am over that and just so thrilled about going forward with this. My sister who was my support because I live with her is now saying that it is too much for her to handle and it is stressing her out. I have been asking her for 4 months to take before pics of me and she just kept saying she would but would never do it. I asked again the other night and she was like "lets get this over with so I can stop stressing over it". I don't know why she is being like that. It makes me think I shouldn't have the surgery just so she won't be stressed out. I hope after I have the surgery she will support me and I will try not to be a burden to her. Please keep me in prayer for my surgery and afterward. Thank you all. debby

Hi Debby you will be in my thoughts & prayers for a safe surgery & a healthy recovery. Your sister is just worried about you & maybe a little scared for you...this surgery is a big deal. Just be patient with her she will be ok after you come out of surgery with no problems. See you on the losers bench!

I am so excited for you!! Prayers are being said!! Debby do not let your sisters attitude make you regret your decision. Sometimes people have a hard time expressing their jealousy, concern and love. You ARE doing the correct thing for YOU!! Its about YOU and your loosing journey!!

Good luck and I hope it is a uneventful surgery. Remember walk walk walk and sip sip sip when they let you. This is a time to care for yourself the others more then likely will destress when they know you are ok. Pleasant dreams tommrow.

You will be fine. I was scared too. Both of you could be a little hyper-sensitive. They give you a little cocktail and you'll wake up to start on your new journey for you. Remember this is about your health. Good Luck!!!!
