Althia , you are one of the positive ones on the board. You have all this on your plate and yet you offer support for us. I hope for your sake that you continue coming and gleaning what these wonderful people here have to offer. You need support and a place to come to.

This is your time to be supported now though so reach out when you need to even if you just want company to have a litte conversation with. Dear Altheia, I don't know what i would do if i were you today. I have been wondering for some time about you and your partner and how you have been getting along. Funny, i really haven't been in front of the computer when it happens, but instead was always driving or doing a massage when your avatar face has flashed into my head/heart so i would just send loving light to you both and think "i'll message her tonight." Love travels faster than e-messages anyway. Now i will add your mom to my prayers as well. As some have said, don't forget to take care of you during this time. In december I was with my dad during his transition and since i was only 2 months post op it was in the front of my mind to take care of me as well as everyone else, although i would probably not do as well with that at a year out. Hopefully you are able to be there for yourself during this time. Don't hesitate to message me - i'm usually a late nighter.

I lost my father last April from Cancer, and it was Kidney Failure that ended his life. So I know what your going through there.
As far as your spouse Nancy....there is nothing that I can say to help your heart in any way. I have not had to endure that kind of pain.
