Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I get the internal argument of the voice of reason, 'we all lose at diff rates, inches vs lbs.... yada yada' vs the emotional side of the argument.
I could type for the next 10 min explaining how I have spent the last 4 years of hard work to lose with little results and the frustration that went with it... but i won't bore you with the details,
I just wanted you to know I hear you! I have felt similar feelings. And i get how suckie it feels.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
I weigh myself every day and I found that my body has a pattern of weight loss. For about 10-14 days the scale will fluctuate 1/2-1 1/2 lbs, up and down and then I'll get on the scale and 3 lbs will drop and the next day another 1-3 lbs will drop off, then I go back no movement for about 10-14 days.
You're going great, hold your head up high and embrase the new you that is starting to develop.

Check to be sure you are getting in adequate protein and fluids and getting enough sleep. Do whatever movement you can with your limitations and the rest will follow. Perhaps not on your timeline...but it will happen. Best to you. d
But sweety everyone loses different just stay postive.
