Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

I am meeting all my nutritional needs, have since 1st full day home from hospital, at least as far as protein and vitamins go.... Usually have 90 grams a day of protein.
But yeah, I know its only temporary... I think when we start with very thin hair to begin with, its even scarier!!
I lost hair when I went on a diet and lost 70 pounds, 3 yrs ago. It all came back, and I have thick hair again. I suppose I'll start losing it now that I've had surgery.
Hang in there.
But like you Becca, the rewards far outweigh the stressors. I love having a life again.
