How long did most of you wait to try and eat salad? Does it break down easy and how does it sit in your pouch?

Haven't tried it yet. It's three months out on my plan. Boy am I craving a salad though

I had salad at 2 months out.. I could only have it with skinned tomatoes and cheese.. but it was good, it didn't bother me at all, honestly the only food that does not agree with me is green beans!

You should test it out when your plan allows it. At 3 months I tried it and it didn't sit well with my pouch. I tried again a few weeks later and was good with it. Be sure to chew, chew, chew.

At around 5wks out I started eating bits of lettuce. Now at 2mo out I eat lettuce, coliflower, green pepper, and what ever else I want.

I was about 3 months out too... If you try it like others said chew chew chew chew. Take it slow and see how it sits in your pouch.

I had tomatoes about 3 months out and lettuce and salad around 4 months. I had no issues.

Yikes, that long!!
If I see any kind of chicken again I'm gonna scream!!!
Need to change it up but only 1 month out today!!

My program allowed salads at 4 months out. I'm 3 years out and still have problems with old lettuce. My rule: if it doesn't chew to a liquid, I don't swallow it!!

Every pouch is different. I had a few bites of salad at about 2 mos out and it was fine. Make to soft and chew, chew, chew. d

I was about 3-4 months out before trying salad - I can tell you that even now 2 years out salad seems to go right through me.

My program said to wait until 4 months. I was 4 months out on 1/25 and I just tried my first salad this weekend. Went down fine no issues. It was just lettuce and tomatoes, haven't tried any other raw veggies yet.

I'm 8 weeks out and have only ventured as far as trying cucumbers and baby (really small) carrots. No problems. Chew, chew, chew. I am not a crazy fan of lettuce but I do like cukes and raw peppers. :)

my program says week 7-ish we can 'experiment with salad & low-cal dressing' I'm personally craving coleslaw, which I think is 'salad like' but will make myself wait another month before I try it... (only 19 days out!)
