Thick skin indeed! I admire your moxy. ;)
O
See, you really all are truly wonderful!!
I want to clear up somthing about my original post. When I said that I felt that I was eating too much I did not mean that I was being destructive by over eating. My nut said to shoot for 3 meals a day - not 2 and not 4 - no snacking or grazing. He said to try to have 350 calories and 25 grams of protein in each of these meals. What I was saying in my original post is that I was not having any trouble accomplishing that. I was not eating more than that. However, based on many of the other posts that I had read, most people who had GBS were not able to eat that much especially at only 2-3 weeks post-op. So, I was worried that somehow I was doing something wrong. Now that I have transitioned to a little more solid food I see that I can eat much less but thankfully I still have not had trouble with the calories, water or protein. I assure all of you that I take this journey very seriously. I desparately want to succeed.
Bt the way, I decided to weigh again today and I had a 2.8 pound loss from Thursday so yeah I lost 24 pre-op and now 24 post-op!!!
