I too have been wondering about Oso. I left a hug and while I was visiting his profile I noticed he was not too far away from me. I did a little Google search and I came up with something that scares me. I pray this is not true but too many dots connect...

This is sad, and it scares me that we've had two people on this board who have recently died from complications from GBS. We all know that there are risks, I just would like to know what the causes were because if it's sometihng I can prevent, I want to know about it.

It's sad and scary and I just pray that this isn't a trend that continues.

Oh Shelly, thanks for doing the research,. Girl you beat me too it. I just had a bad feeling and was going to see what I could find tonight. Wow, this is so incredibly sad...what a terrible loss. I honestly dont know what to say. We talked quite a bit in the couple days before his surgery and he was so scared of the complications and he told him that his girlfriend was against him having the gbs. RIP OSO...you will be dearly missed!

What a shocker....and as kittycani said, it is especially hard to process when all of the sudden we have lost two to complications. If anyone does learn of what happened with either, please post.

In the meantime, prayers for his family and friends. What a tough loss.

I think that young man is proud to have known you all for such a brief moment in time yet you all seem to have been struck by his magic. At the end of a mans life if you can count a handful of ppl that care about you I'd say your way above average.
