1 or 2 oz of Greek yogurt
30 mins after:
Protien shake
Lunch:
2 oz tuna fish ( mixed with low fat mayo)
1 oz fruit
Sometime in afternoon can do another shake
Supper:
2 oz baked cod
1 oz mashed potatoes or carrots
Hope this helps a little! Your not getting enough protien in! It's ok to drink your shakes, I promise! Remember, your just a day ahead of me.
WHy don't you give your Nutritionist a call when they are back in the office tomorrow?
They really should have given you more information, than you seemed to have received, especially about Protein shakes.
You will do this, and eating the 2 ounces is not much, but those protein shakes do fill you up. CK out "According to Eggface" web site too, she has a lot of ways to mix all different things into the protein shakes, that make them taste better.
I do feel, that they do help, fill you up in these early stages.
Good luck, and let us know!
Boo
I appreciate all thd help. I'm going to call the office tomorrow morning and find out what they want me to do.
GOOD! They need to BE THERE FOR YOU!
That is their job! Don't be afraid to speak up, ok?
Proud of you for asking all of these things they did not bother to tell you.
Go get em' !!!!
Hugs,
Boo
As you know, all programs are SOOOOO different! I was on clear liquids while in hosp only, then soft foods for 2 weeks.. then real food after that, of course with caution and care till I knew what worked.
And I really really do get the "i'm hungry" thing... and learning to listen to our bodies and its signals takes some work postop. I am still learning to listen to my body vs my head at 5 months... and will probably struggle with this for the rest of my life!
Best to you!!
