Do you like Vitamin water? They have several Zero favors.I like the lemonade. I don't like the crystal light stuff. I have a hard time with artificial sweeteners.

I hope you are feeling better. I used the Mio or Aldi brand Mio type flavoring after surgery couldn't tolerate the Crystal Light stuff post op.

I have found that even the flavored water is sitting hard in my stomach but when I chew/suck on ice I don't get as sick. So guess who is stocked up with a ton of ice and my ice maker should be here by Wednesday so I will have plenty of ice all the time. I also got some more sugar free popsicles so that I eat them and get liquid in. I have found that if I add some decaf coffee crystals to my protein drinks I can tolerate them better and funny thing is that before surgery I didn't drink coffee all that much.

Hope you feel better ~ just went though this on Saturday myself. Still struggling with fluids but just taking it day by day.

I can't do the crystal light stuff -- just too sweet. I did find some lime, ginger and lemon crystals to add to my water and it's a lot better. I found them at Martin's ~ which is Giant Foods in other areas.

Just try to sip as much as you can, popscicles are good too.

I have found that banana popsicles are soothing to my stomach. They have sugar-free, too. Get them at Wal-Mart.

Welcome home! I'm all about the Crystal Light and I make goals - two cups of water with my workout, three cups by lunchish, two before dinnerish, one with night time meds.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I got my 64 plus a little more down today and I also managed to somehow get down 85 grams of protein. We will see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully it will get easier as the days go by.

if you make slush drinks you can make your protein drinks with some of the liquid you generally use as ice cubes and crush. I was using the unsweetened almond coconut milk and putting it ice cubes, crushing them and I just use the chocolate peanutbutter protein drink from Body fortress. any how, it goes down better for me always cold. and than I do really like the zero also...I hope you feel better soon.

Water is the only thing I ever want to drink because everything tastes super sweet to me now. If I don't have my water ice cold it sits heavy in my pouch too.

Glad they were able to fix you up in the hospital and that you are feeling better. Water for me also sat super heavy and it too time to figure it all out. I drank a lot of powdered soup broth added to hot water. It is a bit high on the sodium, but it worked for me until I was able to do the crystal light. Best of luck with all. Sounds like you are on the right track with the ice etc.

try drinking room temp water and not cold ight help
