I am just starting my journey. Just found out that my insurance will not pay for bariatric surgery! I am devastated. I don't know to do. I have heard about people going to Mexico. Can anyone tell me about their experience with that?

I have really enjoyed reading all the posts here. Very informative!

I don't have any experience with Mexico, but I have come across three different people that reported having safe, successful procedures done there.

I recently found that in Australia we can get early access to our Superannuation for this surgery which is what I am applying for, cross fingers it gets accepted by some twit at the government department

Have you looked into CareCredit? That's how I paid for my skin removal surgeries.
