Think we've all been there! Hang in there! When you get to the other stages, food or even the thought of it becomes a chore and no longer enjoyable! Atleast that's the stage I've been in for awhile now!
Soon you will be able to calm the taste buds!

When one of best friends was in your place she wanted an italian sandwich so bad it would make her eyes tear up! She made it through and so will you! :)

Amber!!! Totally know what you are going through! Friday night was a serious break down for me....hence my post "I know it wasn't brain surgery". The best advice I was given in that thread was from Becca.....she said, "this is where the rubber meets the road." It totally hit home! I just hit my pureed stage. It seems a little easier than the liquids (something for you to look forward to). But, I totally understand where you are coming from! I want to grab a slice of pizza and dig in, but that attitude has gotten me right where I am today. So, Friday night the hubby let me cry and then handed me my journal and said "WRITE". It helped! Good luck girl! You can do this. You've come this far. And, losing weight is going to feel soooo good compared to a minute on the lips!

Rant all you want to :) I believe most, if not all, of us understand. Since you are 2 weeks out when do you get to migrate to pureed?

Oh sweetie - we all understand. The first two months of the journey really suck, but when the weight starts to fall off and you can fit into cute new clothes, you won't miss the food so badly...

Amber you can do this! It's your head that wants food not your stomach.

Hang in there! You'll get solids before long. It's a rough go don't ever let anyone tell you it's the easy way out. BUT it works!
The first month or so is the worst then it gets much better and the excess weight melts away!

You will get food again :) And you will be satisfied with just a few bites! Hang in there, find something to do so you don't think about it.

I am two weeks out today- and boy do I hear ya! I just keep sip,sip,sippin and telling myself in the grand scheme of things a month is nothing. It doesn't help that it's like 4 degrees outside either! Hang in there... Pures on the way!!

I just started regular foods, but it's not that easy (at least for me) to make the leap to solids.

My head goes back to previous habits and "thinks" I can eat more than I can.

I think I crave the aggressive flavors more than the food. I had some Italian dressing today and it was better than the three bites it was poured on.

I understand. I have days now where I don't feel like eating. And I have days where I will be eating and get frustrated because I can't eat more than a few bites. This scale moving does help but it's hard.

Hang in there! Time flies and this won't last forever!

I remember!! I do!! The head stuff is so very hard.... Hang tough!! It will all be worth it, and soon this will just be a fleeting memory :)

Thanks guys. I know it's all in my head, but it can be rough. I started pureed this week which has helped! Thanks for the encouragement, y'all are awesome!

I remember the same feeling Amber. I wondered if I would even be able to ever drink a big gulp of water to actually quench my thirst instead of sips. It does happen - I can eat just about anything only in very small portions. You will get to the same place - just give yourself time to heal. Stay strong!
