So I saw a post on facebook about fruit infused water and decided to try it. So far I have did a citrus medley, a cucumber/orange/mint medley, a strawberry/orange/mint medley, and a grapple/mint medley. I am going to try other things. I find they are really good. I like it better than drinking the crystal light or other flavored water. It's healthier as well.

What do u do add the fruit into the water or ua.se the fruit juices?

take a mason jar or some other storage container, slice the fruit/cucumbers into thin slices, if adding mint or other herbs slightly crush them, place them in the container add water place in fridge and drink. After 48 hours throw the water out its not advised to drink after that age but you can reuse the fruit if you so desire. The water is actually pretty well ready after about 30 minutes. I add a green tea bag to the water as well and love it. My six year old loves anything with strawberry in it of course I have to keep replacing the fruit in his because he decides after he drinks it he can eat the fruit

Thanks for the idea... Sounds yummy.... I have problems with water... Talked to my nut. about this and she said some people actually do, so I drink a lot of green tea... But I may try this....

Also, they now sell water bottles with tubes inside (like the ones you used to put water in and freeze to keep cold) that have holes in them. You can put the fruit in that and dip it into your water to flavor it then it cleans up easily.
