I am totally shocked!!
The letter says the "Comprehensive Obesity Treatment Group" met and decided I was an 'excellent candidate" for WLS!
Of course its conditional on me finishing off my last few appointments.... And keeping off the 15 I had to lose for surgery (which is done, I'm at 18 lost now and still losing!).
The letter says "While you are in" the nutrition classes (2 - 2 hr classes on eating post surgery) in June, they will submit to my INS for final approval for surgery!!
It looks like I just might get this done by end of July instead of waiting till Aug! I am not going to get my hopes up on that too much, but they really do seem to be trying to make sure I can get it done between summer and fall term with lots of recovery time before i go back!
Anyways... I was just SHOCKED I got my letter! PSY dude said he had to talk to my counselor before he could send it on to the panel... but he never did! I know cause I asked her yesterday... Guess I got him convinced I am sane! Woot! Woot!

I've 4 weeks left of this term.... Then pretty much 2 weeks off... then for the first 4 weeks of summer term I will take two condensed PSY classes that meet 4 times per week for 4 weeks... so those 4 weeks will be busy busy!! And all of this means TIME IS GONNA FLY!!
When my summer classes are over, it will be the the 19th of July... and they will schedule anytime after that!! She is shooting to get it scheduled between 7-22 and 8-2 :)
