Today was an AMAZING day!!

I have lost somewhere close to 20 lbs since I started this process (preop stuff)... and today... Drum roll...

My cane stayed in my backpack ALL DAY!! :)

Didn't have to use it once! And I was using it ALL DAY EVERY DAY while at school...

I've noticed over the last couple weeks I was using it less and less... but today was the first time I didn't even take it out of my bag! :)

If 20 lbs can do this... what will 50 bring? 100? Maybe more?

Its feels so good to feel good... and to think there is more around the corner and its not just a fluke :)

....just saying!

Thats great, your cane is gonna get lonly. :) congrats on the 20lbs you still have a few months before your right? Your gonna be down alot. Think your already on the loser bench. You have been doing great and your definitly heading in the right path

Good job, Becca. It really does make a difference, I think I heard in a WW meeting that every 10# lost equals 40# less pressure on your knees. You will be running sprints in no time. Kim

Isn't that wonderful!! So proud of you! I too am realizing some new exciting things I couldn't do before losing some weight. I can actually get out of the chair or sofa easily now. I don't have to scoot my fat body to the edge and use arm strength to lift me up any more. It's really weird, I never noticed before that I couldn't get up without my arms. How we accomdate for your fat is simply amazing!!
