Technologically, there isn't much difference between 19th and 18th centuries, but I would take the 19th because history gets a little more active as the union expanded.

If you could go back and found yourself at the Alamo when Travis drew a line in the sand with his saber, Would you have stayed and fought or made a break for it?

I don't know anything about the alamo so i looked it up:

"Between five and seven Texians may have surrendered; if so, they were quickly executed. Most eyewitness accounts reported between 182 and 257 Texians dead, while most historians of the Alamo agree that 400–600 Mexicans were killed or wounded. Several noncombatants were sent to Gonzales to spread word of the Texian defeat. The news sparked a panic, known as "The Runaway Scrape", in which the Texian army, most settlers, and the new Republic of Texas government fled from the advancing Mexican Army."

if those who surrendered were killed anyway, i would have run or fought until i died, i mean if you are going to be killed anyway, you may as well fight til your own death


if you could reverse time within your own life time, what year are you choosing to return to and then relive everything thereafter again (you will not recall how it went the first time).

There are a few things I regret doing or saying, little hurts I never intended to cause, but all of the really bad things that I did or that happened to me led to great wonderful things or at least prevented worse things. To go back without knowing what to change, It's hard to pick an exact time.

If I had to pick a moment, it would be 7:30, July 2nd, 1983. Perhaps with even a second's more time, maybe I could have wounded that man instead of killing him. The problem with that is, he was already a career criminal with two rape/homicide convictions and he had escaped from prison (I later found out from the police, who wanted to slip me a medal under the table). There was no stopping him from harming others without killing him. I caught the man in mid assault on a teenaged girl. Add to that, my family's reaction is what led to my Caribbean exile which was one of the best eras of my life, second only to my married years.

Hmmmm.... let's see.... hordes of screaming girls vs.... more hordes of screaming girls plus quite a few middle-aged women, and more than a few that were going through hot flashes....... I'll say Elvis, though I could not say why.
