I know that there are people keep on making excuses for their treatment and I am one of them. However my thread here is to deal with people have the same personality like me.
STUBBORNESS is one of the many characters we all have and probably that's why we become addicted to gambling. We can't change people's character but we can try a different approach to these people.
RELIGEOUS
currently the 12-step program is really designed for people who has strong religion beliefs. Not every program is designed for every one so I am still searching for the Gambling Recovery alternatives thread.
If someone can find it sooner please post the link.
Thanks.

Thanks for guide me to this thread, I now officially the new member of this group. Instead of blaming myself and the 12-step program I will try to give some suggestions to this group according to my own experiences.
1. I am an ultimate loser in terms of gambling.
a. I will not leave the casino either win or lose, the only time I will leave is out of $.
b. My stubbornness is my character contributed to this addiction, I cannot change my personality but I can change my behavior.
c. I am a loner and that is very dangerous to my situation
2. The best way to stop gambling for me is not to have any money to gamble with
A. financially I cannot control my spending, money most time means nothing to me till I ran out of money.
B. gives the authority of managing my money to someone I can trust is the ONLY way to stop throwing money away at casino.
C. pay all my bill on time [your financial assistant should help you achieve that]
3. join a support group, this is something we cannot do it alone, period. If we can we will not be addicted to gambling
a. whether on line or go to the GA and find someone in your same situation to be "friend" with.
b. never deny to anyone that you are addicted to gambling
c. start sharing your time with friends and someone you love.
These are the suggestions i can come up with.
My last relapse was on october 15 and that is because i HAVE money to gamble with, currently i am seeking a way to let my friend handle my bank accounts and i will have no access to it. I believe that is the ultimate solution to people like me.
good luck to everyone.
Blessings
You really do have strong will and thining. bless you.
