It does help to limit our access to money, especially in the beginning. I am proud of you for making it passed payday and doing the work up front that it took.

I am self employed, so I get paid everyday that I work. I had to get a plan when I finally decided that I wanted life more then the behavior I was doing.
Gas is in the car and all money is given over to husband.
Never would I have thought that I could not keep money with me. I did ban, so that means I don't even have a place to gamble, but I am still gong to hand over my money. It is me letting him know I trust him and he trust me. That is how bad I want to be free from the torment that this addiction hands out.
I did the standing in line at the bank, too. It was a PIA, but it worked as part of my 'plan'. The day did come when I felt I could responsibly handle carrying a debit card. The first time I got a little nervous/anxious and gave it up again. The second time I was more ready.
