when you are typing and see the recommendations on grammar or spelling made thru your computer do you take advantage of making those corrections or just leave it be?

I only do sometimes....spelling yes much more but the blue correction that says it is grammar I usually leave it the way I typed it. Sometimes I will correct it too...more so with spelling since I do not spell the best in my class...LOL

English is a very hard language because it has so many variations that just do not make all that much sense. Plus we have American English and British English rules...

I only see spelling corrections. And sometimes only
a notice that I spelled the word wrong. I would love
to have the correct spelling show up every time
because I'm bad at spelling! Oh, and my grammar is worse.

For work and casual emails I use spell check but I also use my judgement since the spell check doesn’t necessarily contemplate context or intent. I don’t use the grammar check for emails.

For work related non email writing like memos, proposals, processes I use both grammar and spell check but again use my judgement since sometimes it is not 100% accurate depending on context and style. I also use AI sometimes as a second set of fake eyes for checking spelling and grammar.
