Stewart - did your husband have symptoms ?

I WAS JUST THINKING: MAYBE A VISITING NURSE OR PCA [PRIMARY CARE ASSISTANT] TO VISIT/STAY W/ YOU WHILE IN TREATMENT, SO YOU WON'T FEEL ALONE. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HIRE THE PCA [AFTER INTERVIEWING]; THE NURSE WILL TREAT YOU. WHEN/IF YOU HIRE A PCA YOU CAN WORK OUT HOURS SO YOU WILL BE LESS ALONE. WHEN I REQUIRE CHEMO, PEOPLE ON DS TOLD ME HOW IT WAS NOT AS YOU FEAR IT TO BE, WITH FEW SIDE EFFECTS [WHAT A COMFORT]. I'VE BEEN ON CHEMO ALMOST A WEEK [PILLS] W/ NO SIDE EFFECTS. HOPE I'M HELPING.

My husband was sick after chemo for about a week or so.

His symptoms were shortness of breath, a cough after exertion, weakness, and he did cough up a little blood. He was treated for pneumonia and during that process they found the cancer.

Prayers for you. Bob went through 3 years of chemo and radiation.

I had no symptoms. 3 years is a long time. How is he doing now ?
