TRY TO BE WELL INFORMED [BY MEDICAL PEOPLE WE HAVE FAITH IN]...MULTIPLE OPINIONS/SOLUTIONS IF NECESSARY. ATTEND DR. Thank you. I need that. Now they say the cancer didnt start in the bones. It metastizied there and now I have to find out where it is. I am really scared and depressed.

I am certain its lung cancer because I smoked for so many years, Went onto the Cancer Centers of America website and they confirmed that in older woman bone cancer is from lung or breast cancer and is Stage 4 which means I only have about 3 months to live.

Unicorn23....I hear you and I think I would be just as scared as you are right now...But I want to encourage you to go to your Dr and get treatment...You may qualify for help at home. One step at a time.
Its got to be overwhelming for you right now,just take small steps..this is your life and you have a say in what you will and will not do,but I hope that you can remain open to listening to what the dr's are suggesting.

My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer and given 3-6 months if he consented to chemo and radiation. His cancer had spread to his adrenal glands and bones. He was stage 4. He did both treatments and lived 3 years. It was a very positive life extension in his case. He was aware of his possible outcome and made the most of the time he had left. He made peace with God and with every single person he was at odds with. I questioned some of his actions in doing this, but in the end it's given me great peace. My heart goes out to you. I understand that it's a very personal decision. God bless you.

HOW THEY DEAL/TREAT YOUR TYPE OF CANCER MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. FIND THAT OUT FROM A KNOWLEDGEABLE ONCOLOGIST; THEN ASK PEOPLE HERE WHO WERE TREATED FOR IT...IT MAKES A HELL OF A BIG DIFFERENCE. MANY FOLK DO NOT EXPERIENCE SIDE EFFECTS, SURELY YOU HAVE FRIENDS IN THE REAL WORLD.

I am just paralyzed and cant seem to leave my bed. I am going to plan my funeral ahead of time. Its very surreal to be doing things like this, Those who go to sleep and never wake up are soooooooo lucky.
