IT SEEMS THEY ARE ABLE TO TREAT MANY CANCER-RELATED ISSUES. I JUST HAD A CANCEROUS MASS IN MY COLON; THEY THINK THEY GOT ALL OF IT, STARTING CHEMO [PILLS] THE END OF THE WEEK. YOU ARE VERY MUCH IN MY THOUGHTS. PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED. ~ GENE

Right now I dont want treatment. I dont want chemo - I live alone and cant handle it alone. Plus I've seen too much cancer in my life and refuse to be a cancer patient. I'm looking for a way to end it all before I'm too sick to do it.

UNICORN: FIRSTHAND I REALIZE HOW DEPRESSING ANY FORM OF CANCER IS. GET THE DOCTOR[S] TO EXPLAIN YOUR OPTIONS AND THE BEST WAY TO MAKE THIS GO AWAY. TRY TO FIND OTHERS WHO DID SIMILAR PROCEDURES AND THEIR SUCCESS RATE...IT'S HELPED ME A LOT, ALTHOUGH I'M STILL VERY SAD. THIS IS NOT MY 1ST BRUSH W/ CANCER [THYROID]...NONE OF IT IS FUN. THIS TIME I HAD A GREAT ONCOLOGIST...TRY TO FIND ONE. ~ GENE

I'm trying to find a therapist because I'm pretty much brain dead right now. Now they think the bone cancer is secondary - that it started elsewhere. I dont want to lose my hair, I dont want to get very sick from chemo and have no one here to help me. And who knows, I may be Stage 4 even though I have no symptoms yet. I am very, very scared.

So sorry my friend. Please do try to find a great oncologist and compare notes on what you're told. You'd have to be in shock after getting that diagnosis. I'm sending up BIG prayers for you. I'm here if you need an ear or a shoulder.

My stepsister in Maine was diagnosed with several different types of cancer a few years back. She had surgery and chemo. It did come back but they treated it this time with a pill each day. I'm thinking of you. I know this is hard. ♥
