"Sent but not taken" Or has that expression gone out the window like so many others?? I was sent to Sunday School, but it wasn't until high school that I found out it was possible to have a personal relationship with Jesus and be assured that He would admit me to heaven when I die, ONLY because He loves us and nothing to do with how well I behaved. I would start wanting to behave to please Him, but not as a fire escape...........!! I like that idea, as fire kinda turns me off when I get to close to it!! I don't think it matters how we were brought up cause God doesn't have any grandchildren, each new generation gets to have their own choice!!
Heard it said once that working for the church can be kinda stuffy but that the retirement plan is "outa this world", I can stand that..............

Yes i was but they wanted to tell you what u could do & couldn't do couldn't wear pants makeup etc....

I went to that church too Angel! My parents did actually take us. They both worked in children's church.

I was raised in the Catholic Church.............It was only recently (about five year's ago, I decided to stop going) I feel a lot of mixed emotion's about Church......I feel Our parent's force religion /Church on us. I have heard a lot about religion..........That if we do bad, there absolutely no bargaining with God, except to go in front of the Cross.......I've heard, that, God know's what's in our heart's........etc

I'm very thankful my parents took me! My faith has brought me through some awfully dark times.
