An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

My best friend is on this now for about 2 months. It works for her and she has lost weight. The problem she has is she just does not sleep much at all with it. Also, now after 2 months she feels it has stopped working and the weight loss has stopped! She is planning on going off for a few weeks and starting again. Pills for me are not an option, but I do not judge anyone doing anything that may work for them....Just be careful and communicate with your doctor....My concern is what happens after you stop, you can not take these pills forever, this is what I am concerned about with my friend. Keep us posted on how you do and good luck with it!!!!!!

I take Meridia....I've been on it for a month have lost 7 lbs. I was still finding the urge to binge at night, so I started taking it at noon. Now I sometimes have to take a sleeping pill to counter act the effects of Meridia.....ugh!!!! The things we go thru just to try and be normal!!!!

BE CAREFUL!!! I had been off and on Phen for 3 years!!! It totally messes with your metabolism and was very addictive for me. I have not taken it since November and have gained about 15 lbs since then. It also really messed up my sleep.

It really messed me up. I am bipolar and it sent me into hypomania. It also messed with my sleep big time.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
