So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

For awhile it was stressful and at times I felt like it will never end... but I stuck with my plan and the "hiccups" became a bit less and the stress caused by them also became less...
Hang in there...
I needed that encouragement, I am doing ok today, things don't look as bleak as they did yesterday.
I am still stressing a little bit, but not like I was yesterday. I just meneuvered some things around and I am on the roll again :)
well I finally made the call to make a partial payment on my last payment of insurance, 6 mos paid in full. I have about $60 to pay on it and then I'll be ok until June.
For me I have to get that payment out of my hands before I am tempted to spend it on other things. And I know that money is set aside for that certain bill.
So I did what messenger said and rounded down my amount to the next dollar and rounded up my payments to the next dollar. So that way my account shows me I have less and I have a (right now) tiny cushion in my acct. So I don't overdraft again.
That what was stressing me out was I was overdrafted in my account and on top of that another bill automatically withdrew and took money out, I really enjoyed the subscription I earlier ordered, but I couldn't afford it and so I cancelled the subscription and am a happier person. so on top of the auto w/d came an overdraft FEE! ugh!
so when my pay day rolled around, I was short on my check a little over $100 it really stunk.
But I made my cc payment and a payment on my insurance, and now everyone is happy. except me, because after I send in the $60 dollars off my cc to my insurance I will be broke again until the 25th. unless we get the wood sales going again. ugh!!! money! money! money!
all is good as long as my bills are being paid right? I'm broke but have my bills paid. Soon I'll have a little bit extra money to enjoy on other things. But right now I am struggling to pay each and every one of my bills. and get to where I don't feel like I am drowning.
Even though I know the money is there when I write a check and see "zero" balance my mind thinks I'm broke and I quit spending...
That was my first goal... not to bounce checks and when I started my road out of a financial nightmare there were many months of being broke. My night life was watching TV and writing and a once a week AA meeting.
But even though I was broke, I kept my "eyes on the prize" - FREEDOM!!!
That is my goal! I want to be able to enjoy my check and not live paycheck to paycheck!
I want to be able to handle when an emergancy come up! and not stress all the time.
It seems like I am a money crazed zombie! I am always keeping an eye on my wallet and can't enjoy anything, because I am worried about the next bill that is coming along and also if there is enough in the bank to cover that bill.
But now that I am getting control over the wallet and my finances, and budget I feeling a little bit better about the whole situation.
