Found a job, probably lost it

not happy. Found a position October 9 with a managed services firm and an irate insane customer probably blew me out of the job today. Wish I did not work compuiters sometimes. A less stressful job would be far better.

Don't be so hard on yourself... time will tell what happens, until that happens there is nothing that can be done...

I will say though, having worked in customer based company, I have had a run in (or two) with customers. Management knows that customers can be jerks, a letter of apology, whether you were right or wrong will usually soothe management and lets the customer feel like they "won."

We can't make others change their mind, no matter how much we try. Acceptance can be painful, even at the best of times, but by God it's effective.

People suck. It is really hard to deal with them sometime. I actually might be getting myself into a sales job and I am terrified. I have done customer service jobs and people are so difficult. Some you can never please. :(
