I love getting my mail anymore. There was a time I hated it because it was always filled with bills, now they are filled with credit card offers.
Got two of them today. One from Walmart. Why would I want that? I have a major credit card, this one offers nothing to me.
Then one from Phillips 66. Massive discounts and no interest blah blah blah. Again, I have a major card, one that offers 2% discount on every purchase. One that doesn't tell me that I must spend $100 to save $10.
I always love the wording of these cards, "a savings of 10 cents." I'm not saving anything... I'm still spending money.
Anyway tonight I will send them back. I won't fill them out but I will send them back so they are charged for postage. And I'll do my part to help the Post Office stay in business.
Honestly though I used to look at these offers as if they were pure money. I would have been on-line for them five minutes after opening them and seeing how fast I could get those cards...
I don't miss those days or that mentality at all...

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

Soooooo... I'll put the insurance papers in the Walmart envelope, the Walmart CC info in the gas envelope and finally the gas CC info in the insurance envelope... might as well give the folks something to read that they never have seen before...
