Annie Cat jumped on me today ---- for a long moment I saw pain stars crashing into each other...all fighting for world domination. I was stunned by the intensity of the pain, each paw and the weight of her small kitty body was so horrible. It felt like I couldn't get my breath.

She's a sweet kitty...neither one of us knew this was a 10+ fibro pain day yet.

I think I'll wait on taking a shower now, the water might do me in.

Oh, how horrible! I have days when anything that touches my right thigh makes me fall on the ground screaming. My boss started laughing at me last time it happened because she thought I was kidding.

Cat paws are terrible, they even hurt people that dont have fibro, Its just all their weight on those two paws when they walk,

I think cats are very cute, but I would not want one for that reason! They're very jumpy and sneaky LOL. Although, I do have dogs and they do jump on me and I dislike it. Luckily they are around 4-5 pounds.

Im a kitty lover too and sometimes those paws are like daggers. But they purr and all is well. I have a fat doggie too that is always climbing on me w his bony paws... I understand!!

I can so relate. My little kitty is now about 9 months and for some reason she is most comfortable laying on my chest. I hate to break it to her but that hurts and I can't breathe.

In that being said, Serce... Isn't it amazing the unconditional love and comfort a sweet animal can give to us when we are in pain?

Not fun being jumped on when in a flare....forsure! But, the Plus'es far out way the Minus'es when it comes to these loving little supportive furry friends!

Hope you feel better soon, Serce....maybe as Annie grows into a full grown cat...she will sense when you are in pain.....this happens in most cases....and they know exactly what you are needing....or NOT needing! Hugs~Tory
