We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

I used a company called Allsup which you can find online. They have a very high success rate and seem pretty organized. Like an attorney, they will take 25% of your back pay as a fee. You can file yourself but I don't recommend it. If you miss one deadline, you have to start all over again. Go online to the Social Security Administration site to see what you would get if you were approved for SSDI.
Good luck and take care.
I'm sorry I don't know about disability, but I know that you deserve it and hope that you can track down the details about how to proceed. Here in Pennsylvania you have to have a lawyer to get it which is absurd.
I may have written to you before, but I was also a dental hygienist for 35 years, and worked in pain for most of those, except the first 11 of my career. It started in my shoulder and upper back-work-related, and after accidents and injuries since 2010, I hung in there until 2016, after I feel and broke my back and neck. I knew I was done. I applied for disability(Ohio) with a lawyer, and was granted it 5 months later. I am so grateful. After almost 3 years not bending over dental patients, and twisting my body 10 hours a day, 3 days a week, I think I am starting to heal a bit. Some days with very low pain. You should check into disability. Hygiene is very demanding physically. Good Luck. Fibrohyg
