So I realized yesterday that I done messed up. Completely forgot it was Veterans Day until later in the morning. So I want to say what I should have said yesterday:
Thank you to all the veterans who have served and sacrificed for our country. Your courageous actions have given us the rights and democracy we still have today.
I ended up going to the brewery after work to surprise bf-hes a veteran and Veterans Day is a day he really likes. The brewery is also veteran owned so they had an event going, so he drank for free and I supported the business and left a big tip-usually bf won't let me pay. I crashed hard when I got home though and I'm moving really slowly this morning. It's still raining pretty hard and it's really warm, like 70 degrees. Whenever the rain stops, I need to walk Miki, go grocery shopping and work on burning. I didn't get much burning done yesterday morning because I ended up doing the yard work I was going to do today. Need to finish the ornament I'm working on for work so I can bring them in Monday and Tuesday. The manager is cool with me selling them there and the one I'm working on is super cute. I'll post some photos when they’re finished.
On that note, I need to get moving...I need some food and a shower and for the rain to stop. My head is not in the game this morning so I'm adding some derpy animals to feel less alone in that.

My partner is already gone to work which means he must not be closing tonight. He didn't arrive home until almost 9:30 last night, He wasn't happy at all. I have no idea what time he will reappear today. I'm guessing around 6 but who knows.
I have a brief appointment today and I need to once again try to get my license plate tab. The machine close to my home was not working correctly again. I will be close to another one today so I will try there on my way home.

Miki, you are doing such a terrific job with check in. That’s okay about Veterans Day. That way we got to hear about your fun evening with your bf. What a great brewery.

Fantod, it sounds like your partner is working so hard. That’s tough. Especially if you don’t so much like what you are doing anymore. Something will come up in the future, I bet.

I had some bad PTSD issues from my phone call with my mom. I do not like triggers one bit, as I had nightmares all night. I’m not answering when she calls, for a long time. I need to take care of me. Today I feel really good emotionally, surprisingly. My body. Forget it.
Just resting like I’m told. I’ll do some coloring. That is going well with my thumb. I might address some Christmas cards. I may try to order some labels and try to print them. I’ve never done that as I don’t know how. Any tips are welcomed.

Yesterday my shrink did up my trintellix (depression med) but were doing it very slowly becuase i get nausea from it and from another one, which is because i have chronic nausea already without meds. Zofran helps me a lot im on it daily for the last 2 years i think it is. I really hope this helps. My shrink also said that with my Vit D being deficient even with being on the top dose of prescription strength of vit D that one can safely take, it can cause more depression as well, my pain does not help matters either. I have been in such severe pain the past month to 6 weeks its unbearable. Monday i see my neurologist who does my pain meds and tuesday i see the new pain Dr whos suppose to do an epidural on me but im not sure when shes doing it, most likely not at first visit. Mom 5 and our 1 dog are all down at the groomer right now. Matt and i are going home tonight. We will have 6 dogs and a cat in our house monday thru saturday this week coming up because moms having her floors done, shes getting laminate flooring like we have, the water proof kind, we love ours, the vinyl click from home depot.
Oh and it can stop snowing at anytime please!!!!!! Upper michigan went from a very warm fall to dropping to the 20s yesterday.
Another night of not enough sleep. UGH. I am icing my knee and drinking a mostly decaf coffee. Feels like someone beat with bats and then ran me over with a car while I was sleeping. Isn't fibro grand? I am hoping for a good nap later.

Fantod - enjoy peace and quiet around the house today. I hope you are able to get your tabs today. When is your birthday this month?
Merry - I am not good at technology. I buy them already printed . I think it is cheaper than using my own printer because the ink is expensive. Sounds like a good idea to avoid your Mom.
Puppymom - Did you wean off the med or abruptly stop? Some meds are just hard to stop even if you wean off . Some meds you can't just abruptly stop. Covid symptoms can be so different for different people and a test would at least rule it out if it is negative. I hope you feel better soon.

I had kind of a restless night so I'm tired. Maybe getting my hair done today if my friend has time and the energy. I'd like to get rid of my silver lining....
I finally managed to get the tab for my car yesterday while I was out on an errand. I was near another state operated kiosk and tried there. In and out in 5 minutes as it should be - smh.
PuppyMom - I sure hope that you are even slightly better today. I'm concerned about you.
AngelaJo - You are going to busy with all of the dogs at your house. I'd love to get some new flooring and what you have is exactly what I would like. Hoping that the neuro and new pain doctor are helpful to you this week.

LilMissy - So glad that you found the energy to stop by and check in. I just finished brushing out Smurf. He is looking good and feeling fine. Smurf is going to be in the newsletter of the rescue that I got him from next month. His gotacha date is Tuesday. Sending you strength and a hug!
I have laundry working and have gotten a couple of things done around here. My partner will be home earlier today so we are having pizza and salad for dinner tonight. I still have to prep for that.

I had a great veterans day myself. 4 of us went out restaurant hopping: me and my BF (we served together) and my baby brother who served 10 yrs in the USAF plus his GF (a civilian). My BF and I for fun swapped Marine Corps t-shirts for the day and I wore his and he wore mine, just for extra silliness.
A cold front blew in Friday afternoon so my body hurts everywhere. I stayed home yesterday, laid in bed, my bf spoiled me with massages and we soaked in a hot bath for an hour with a movie. It was soooo great. This afternoon we'll be heading up to my older brother's in Austin to go to an art show and then he's having a BBQ at his house.

Now we wont be having all moms dogs during the day until weds because she is still not feeling well, and so they are starting her floors weds morning instead.
We have a lot to do to get ready to have 5 extra dogs here, my dog and cat do not get into much, abby our dog gets into absolutely nothing and madeline our cat not often.
I see my neurologist tomorrow (Matt sees his dr for his yearly appointment too before my neurologist) and we will go out for lunch in between. I am so glad Matt has the week off paid vacation. He is a hunter plus he will put up the new dog fence.
I need my pain to ease up i can not stand being like this, and my neck is killing me today :(
