Wasn't it Monday just yesterday?
So, all, how's everyone holding up?
I'm... holding. Up, maybe not. Just holding.
Pest Removal: Don't feed birds, you won't get animals.
Me: *is he effing kidding, I live next to the woods, I get 'em if I don't put out food!*
Plumber: Your toilet won't fit
Me: *Nice try, lazy-ass*
Chimney Guy: We can't recommend you use it with this crack in the tiling.
Me: "OK, enough! It's not tiled, it's a segmented terra cotta shaft! Get outta the way! That's not a tile, that's where two ssegments join! And of courose it's got some superficial cracks! It's older than ME! But it is NOT tiled! If you can't get that right, then get out!"
Hubby: That was harsh.
Me: Look up the chimney. That isn't tiled. If he's lyin', I'm firin'.
Chimney Guy: But...
Me: You'll be paid for cleaning, but not for scamming. Please leave my house. (Secretly, I'm yelling MOVE YOUR LYING ASS.)
After, Hubby picked a fight, and I pointed out taht 1. HIS electrician was wrong about something that was *easily checked* ---- 2. HIS choice of plumber is a lazy ... 3. HIS father didn't have him pulling wire and helping install HVAC and plumbing when he was 7-20 years old, so do you think *maybe* he could give me the respect of knowing my shit?
His reply was that If Icould do it, he wouldn't hire people.
Ouch. Right in the fibro -----
So, yeah, I'm less than amused. I'm so frigging frustrated. I've got over 15 years in construction and building, and while I let pros handle things, I'm not gonna let 'em rip me off!!!
.... *sigh*....
Rant over. Anyone else need a hug? ((((((((((((FIBRO FAM))))))))))))))))

I'm alive, I'm sleeping like a rock, and for some reason I wanted cherry juice so that seems to be helping. (??? Weirdo that I am.)***Infamous therapies over history:1. The Attic. The madwoman in the attic is a motif in literature going waaaaaay back: the nutty female relative is locked in the attic. (See: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte for a grotesquely racist version of it, and Charlotte Perkins...

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...
How about an erasable white board at home to help you keep track of things or an oversized calendar. I use a labeler on my calendar so I can clearly read the notation.
Recording notes instead of writing it down.
That's all I've got right now.
