I never know which illness is bringing up the current symptoms. Could be they are all hitting at once. So what do you do when everything hurts, stomach is sick, palpitations and anxiety is going on, new pains start etc etc?
I have MS, Graves Disease, Gastritis, GERD, Degenerative Disc Disease, Fibromyalgia, IBS, Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis. All can cause the same kinds of pain and ALL seem to cause anxiety. The fatigue is unbearable at times. The fuzziness or palpitations ( spasms ) in my chest and the bowel problems are part of several of these "syndromes".
I just don't know what to do much anymore. Each specialist likes to blame the other illnesses and no one wants to commit to trying anything.
I've tried all the usual supplements, OTC stuff, essential oils. Can't do Yoga or exercise much, although I do walk around a lot.
Please someone tell me how you deal with multiple problems all at one time without using a lot of drugs.

Today (August 8) is INternational Cat Day. Don't click away! International DOG day is August 26! Both were created to raise aweareness and funds for the well-being of critters. We have many such dayts, to the pint that every day is like an old Catholic saints' day calendar: Take your pick!I'm home, obvs, and still ill. Left calf and foot not great after a tangle-fall, but i'll live. Just can't...

I'nm exhausted. This doxycycline thing has ripped me apart and I'm eating crackers and water. I can't take (anything) or eat (anything) except saltines and toast and maybe unbuttered watery mashed potatoes. Are we sure the cure isn't worse than the possible disease?!?!And a week to go. ***Fun cures that WERE worse than the disease:ARsenic. Popular against STDs, which just compounded misery...

Then supplement everything else with natural things. I refuse to take fosomax so calcium with minerals and vit K is all osteoporosis gets.
Digestive system and colitis has been treated for years by the way I eat. So if that acts up I only have me to blame.
Even my supplements are limited to only what is necessary. I am fortunate that I can do limited yoga or pilates and ride a stationary bike.
I still get frustrated when I ses my list of DX so I don't look! Those are my coping skills, not perfect but makes me feel a little in control.

Everything runs together into one big case of chronic, everyday pain. I have a hard time sorting out my various ailments, and her way of dealing with me is a pain contract with morphine. Yeah, I'm currently looking for a new insurance plan and doc.
Life is very hard when you don't have good health, but we manage. Then, my oldest son died in his sleep. So, grief isn't healthy, either. We go on and get support from one another. So, I hope you'll feel better, have great drs., and keep on trying to be well.
I suspect that I have fibro, which is why I'm here. I have GERD, a hiatal hernia, arthritis, ptsd, anxiety and this thing I'm dealing with right now.
Littlemart I keep a journal for all of my problems. Any school type notebook will do. I got those divider tabs so I could make a section for each illness, one for a food journal (I suspect many of our problems is due to diet), then I also have a section to write down things for me personally. It really, really helps.
Gentlest hugs.
