I have seen quite a number of posts by people upset by the lack of understanding of nonfibro people and I don't want to appear insensitive, but can we expect anyone to understand? When I first got my symptoms I was totally sure that I was dying because I could not believe that anyone could hurt that much and not be dying. It is so unimaginable! It does not matter how good we are at communicating. I just don't think it is possible for anyone to fathom. I think that at most they can accept our limits, and that's it. We have enough to worry about. Let's try to not let others upset us. It's not worth the pain, literally.
I don't know why so many people's families treat their own so horribly when it comes to Chronic Disease-I hear it time and again-people with Immune Disordrs, Fibro, A Neuro Disease I have, Sjogren's
Across the board Chronic disease seems to tear families apart, especially if they were cracked in the first place.
I really do not know what the mysterious element it is about Chronic Illness that brings out the worst in families...so strange!
