I cancelled with my friend and her little boys today. I feel like someone badly beat me up and every inch of me is severely bruised. humidity is 94 percent and it stopped raining for now. gotta laugh im watching my dog play with her lamby her favorite toy its lambchop from the show i watched as a kid and had 5 squeakers in it not sorry to my neighbors who are loud as heck! Shes so goofy throwing it in the air and squeaking it racing around the living room! It even hurts to take a breath and my allergies are bad so im sneezing and coughing and blowing my nose and my ribs kill which doenst normally happen to me unless im coughing a lot which im not a ton. Only you guys understand how bad i feel with it :( My mood is down a bit, woke up from a terrible nightmare that my sponsor had died, were like sisters, took me a long time to shake it off and realize it wasent true. I hope you all have good days and low pain!

I'm still feeling like I got run over by a bus, and not doing great emotionally because tomorrow is both the anniversary of the stuff that happened with my parents and father's day, so I have to spend it with them. I'm going to bring Miki and bf is coming too but it's not going to be a fun day. I wish I could just sleep through this weekend

IBS flared awfully bad yesterday and I cancelled all activities for the day. Still flaring today. If I can, I'd like to make it to the film festival and the "Taste of Wailea" a culinary arts celebration with various local chefs.

Been really sick with sinus/bronchitis. Had a migraine when I got up yesterday and it is still bad. Going to the movies today for fathers day but going to bring ear plugs and eye mask just in case I can't stand it. Tomorrow will be a quiet day with pizza.

I am joining the walking wounded today. Not a great night in terms of sleep. Another weather change....

I do however have kind of a funny story. As you know, my sister is filming a WWII feature. She sent me an email this morning asking me to locate a spider that had been in France in 1944. I thought she meant the P-61 aircraft which is also known as the "Black Widow" or "spider." They only made 703 and 4 survive. None are airworthy. Turns out she wanted a source for a *live* spider that was/is indigenous to France. I think we have settled on the Wolf spider which is large/menacing enough for her purposes. She can order them live from South Carolina. That is how I started my morning....

No plans for today. My chores are done. Pizza for dinner is prepped. I have some extra laundry working. Past that point just a shower and staring at the Tv or napping.

Pizza must be the theme this weekend. We made a GF and dairy free one last night... left overs for breakfast, of course.

Fantod, your sister's... uh... Interesting? What was wrong with the Giant House Spider?They're creepy, in my opinion! And I'm not normally bothered by spiders (tho' the wolf spider is da*n creepy too.)

Huge Vent

Life has not been good for me for close to 3 weeks. Either a spider or bug bit me (I did not see it) , but I am suspecting a spider because of the way the bite looked. I have had an allergic reaction to it with widespread rash and hives that burn, itch, and hurt, The second med the Dr gave me I had an allergic reaction to and the itching from that continues on top of the allergic reaction I am already having. I cant get in to a dermatologist nor my allergist for weeks and it is really pissing me off , I need help now. I feel abandoned . My medical Dr doesnt want to deal with it because it is beyond his scope - he referred me , he is done. I also have felt very unwell. Now I am having killer headaches - but that might be poor sleep and/or weather related.

I am now paranoid of bugs and spiders. I had nightmares last night about bugs and spiders . I may be going crazy.

I was already behind on things in my life and now I am super behind. Also, I have had to cancel other important appointments and there isnt time to reschedule all of them before I go away in August.

I just cant wait to go to my cottage in August , where bugs and spiders are more abundant because we are on Lake Michigan with woods and nature. (rolls eyes) So anyhow , my whine and vent is now over.

All this talk about Pizza is making me want some , but if I have it I wont be making it myself. Need rest and to try to catch up on some laundry.

I just looked up wolf spider and they do look similar to cane spiders, probably cousins.

Milily, why do PCP's do that?? They refer you and quit on you, argh! I have cysts in my kidneys, scar tissue, etc, and he wants nothing to with it. But the earliest urology will see me is Oct. Anyway, I would go to the ER if I were you. Waiting to get into a dermatologist could take too long. Prayers for healing.

Milily- You may remember that I was bitten by a (we think) a brown recluse spider two years ago. If your PCP won’t help you, please go to ER. The symptoms that you are describing are consistent with a spider bite. You need help and there is no other immediate available resource. I know that you hate ER but go. Spider bites are nothing to play around with especially with your history of allergic reactions. Hugs!

Milily, I agree completely, go go go! I live in Virginia and between the potential for allergies and the types of critterse we have? Better the ER and safe, than not the ER and sorry. Also, many PCPs will misdiagnose an insect bite (witness my husband a couple years ago, he got tick-bite infection and cellulitis, but the stupid nurse prac called it *shingles*!).... If nothing else, it just might be a "bad" bug bite.

Not much to report from here except I have been on prednisone this week & I am still wired - can't sleep but then again I never sleep more than a few hours a day anyway & I'm as hungry as a bear & this old "sugarbear' doesn't need anymore tonnage anyway so it has been a struggle - even had to lock up my chocolate covered cashews & I had not even eaten any in over 3 months - I sure picked a good time to go buy some - the same day my doc put me on the meds - good timing (not) on my part but then again that seems to be the story of my life these days. BEAR !!!

My pain is still there but a LOT better than yesterday especially my ribs, yesterday i was almost in tears just breathing plus my allergies are bad so blowing my nose and sneezing and coughing omg :( Humidity is in the 70 percents today instead of 90s, temp is lower too. Still could rain looking at the sky but omg im so much better than yesterday! Making bb

Eeek i knocked the send button LOL I am making BBQ pulled pork outta 2 small pork roasts in the crock pot for fathers day dinner tonight, nice and easy, slow cook the roasts then pull them apart and add sweet baby rays sauce, its already in and making a cherry pie if dad brings me the bag of cherrys i left in their freezer i had no room for them on payday LOL i buy the frozen tart cherrys i dont like using the sweet cherrys for pie. Dad would not let me get him a gift he knows im broke, like its hard to put food on the table if i dont stock up on the first of the month, i buy fruit cups and frozen and canned fruit in case i cant afford fresh after the first two weeks but i fill my fridge with mandarin oranges and other fruit which lasts a long time sometimes the whole month. At least im getting fruit either way and i buy it in natural fruit juice. Also i do the food pantry when i need to and many times in the summer you get fresh produce from them! My sponsor husband is helping my dad move moms old recliner in to my apt and i will have 2 really good ones now plus one that the foot rest is bad but hey it works as a chair till i find another, and my hope chest which has a padded seat on it and works as a bench, it never moved with me ive had it since 15 but it stayed at my parents house till now im ready for it! That will go in my living room as well.
