Enjoyed wonderful Mother's Day, few days staying at my family's house while renovation was finished in my apt. Gave both my mom & my sister gifts.
Thank goodness excellent weather during my stay with my family, perfect sunny days, cooler nites in FL.
Now back in my apt, new tile floors, glad the carpeting is gone.
Temperatures here in FL, the days are getting hotter, in 90sF by Sunday. Humidity slowly climbing. Typical for Central FL.
My allergies are bad, asthma, allergies, grass pollen. Feel miserable tonite.
Higher temps, higher humidity, grass pollen, I'm having to spend more time in A/C indoors. Glad I had those rare few days.
A rain storm will bring me relief.

I just started posting- I feel this group helps because I know that you are all going through the same things. Iv'e spent over a 3 years going to my doctor, specialized doctors, took every blood test, an MRI and everything came back that I was healthy. People started treating me like the only issue I had was in my head. My doctor and neurologist are the ones the diagnosed me with fibromyalgia . I told a nurse once what that I was diagnosed, and she told me that it just means "we don't know whats wrong with you" - okay - off my soap box
My fibro issues act up when its cold. I live in Colorado so I've been in pain every day since October! I have often thought of moving to Arizona. I have full body flare ups {what I call them} every few weeks or so but pain everyday that moves around my body - the cold weather makes is so much worse.

Hello! I live in Indiana. The weather is very unpredictable. It has rained off and on for over a week. Rain is my worst enemy. Usually when it rains, it's cold-- and cold is horrible for me.
But then, we have winter and any temperature below 60 makes me feel pain everywhere. I am looking forward to summer--June through August. My symptoms are lessened, even though it gets very humid.
And yes, I am a human weather barometer.

I live in northern Central Florida. When it's hot and humid the heat effects me so much. I long for the "no humidity" days. When it is cold I'm up under 4 to 5 blankets and am so darn cold. My legs are cold to the touch and it take so darn long to warm them up. The fibro has heightened my senses so much that there are times I can smell rain coming in advance.This rain intuit has only started happening the past 5 years....kinda weird to just one day turn on, huh?

I live in Central NY. The weather here is unpredictable. In the last few years it has been horribly windy most of the time. I do not like wind. It is also very humid here, which is bothersome as well.

I long to move to Arizona where it is warm and dry. Hopefully after sonny graduates in 4 years I will be able to make that move.

We have a family vacation home in the Orlando area and even though it is hot, that humidity while there kills me.

It is supposed to be chilly and rainy all weekend. So of course the fibro and the arthritis in my knees are acting up. But I do not think moving to Arizona will help me because dry weather aggravates my sinus problems.

Had a quiet, peaceful and relaxing Mother's Day. Sun was shining for a change, and warm, so this old body sure enjoyed a break! Lol! I live in Northwest Louisiana, and we have been having warm and windy days, with cool nights. I also have COPD and kidney disease. Winters are really hard, with damp cold. Humidity keeps me inside, whether hot or cold. I have become a barometer myself, and sure know when weather is changing! Gentle hugs to all!

Yes, my fibro tells me when the weather is changing also.
Wish it was telling me it is going to rain...

I live in Central Florida, about the center of the state. May, it looks and feels like mid-summer. Great for tourists and visitors here looking for heat and sunshine. Bad for me who has sensitivities. Its too hot by mid-day and humidity is getting worse. My survival of this climate is to get out early AM, like 5AM and begin doing my errands, return to my apt before 10AM - when it gets hotter. I do have A/C thank goodness.
At night it barely cools though is never as hot as daytime.

Hello all. I live in SE Iowa and, as some of you have noted... Cold and damp make Fibro worse. I find that any weather extreme of cold or hot or a storm front or high humidity make me feel worse. I stay in this climate because all of my family support is here. When I visited New Mexico several years ago, I discovered how fantastic the dry, warm weather was for me. But, I need my support more than the weather. I find that the great people in this group are also valuable supports!

I guess we're all in the same boat !! Here's to 76.5 degrees with low humidity :)

Cloudy and damp here in Texas. Pain all over body. Even my joints have shooting pains. Also I am very tired, to the point of exhaustion. I just want to sit and do nothing.

Tampa Bay florida area, seems like it's never cool always hot but it's the humidity that gets to me, but considering I moved here from Connecticut I'll take the Florida weather
