Happy Veterans day, and thank you to Blue and all who have served our country!
This is bfs favorite holiday, he's a navy vet..will text him later.
Van Gogh isn't doing great..he's definitely subdued and eating less. I know I need to give the anemia medication more than 5 days to do its thing, but patience is not my strong suit. I'm bringing him to work today because I have to check his blood pressure this week, and I'll check a CBC since he's coming anyway. Technically I don't have to check it for another week, and I'm not going to freak out if it hasn't improved, but I want to know where he's at. Hopefully it won't be too crazy and the doctor will have time to examine him...I talk to her about him all the time, but it's been a while since she's seen him. She diagnosed Koshka with renal tubular acidosis, so I value her opinion.
Looks like it's been a rough weekend for a lot of us..Fantod, good luck this morning. That facility needs to get their shit together-do not back down. Hugs

Today (August 8) is INternational Cat Day. Don't click away! International DOG day is August 26! Both were created to raise aweareness and funds for the well-being of critters. We have many such dayts, to the pint that every day is like an old Catholic saints' day calendar: Take your pick!I'm home, obvs, and still ill. Left calf and foot not great after a tangle-fall, but i'll live. Just can't...

And VanGogh is gonna make a liar out of me, he's gained a couple ounces and his hematocrit has gone up from 21-25% (should be 30-45%), and he's producing red blood cells. So even though he's still not great, he's headed in the right direction
It’s an ugly day here. Rain and cool. I hurt over.
Shout out to Leo and Mr. Leo! Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Miki - I hope that the vet is helpful,
