So I managed to get Tumble in yesterday despite the gabapentin probably not being fully effective. He was on to me very quickly, so waiting may not have helped because he's already suspicious. It wasn't pretty, but it went mostly ok and most importantly, no one was injured (in spite of Tumbles uncoordinated efforts to get out through the roof..)
Once his heart rate came down, he was much more relaxed (stoned)
He ate and used his box overnight, and even said hi to the boys last night before bed, but now the drugs have worn off and he hasn't come out of hiding all morning-not surprising given the big change. I'm going to eat something and then get back in bed, and usually the animals follow me so the living room will be quieter. Finally, this may be my favorite part of his little house. $6.99 on Amazon and totally worth it XD
