Good afternoon! Just back from the first part of work. One more call to go today.
I had a close encounter with a 4+ foot garter snake in a clients pool area. I went out to water the palms flanking the pool. I saw it before I approached. Pretty darn healthy specimen. I let them know because they have kids who would probably lose their minds. Huge back yard with some wooded areas.
May have another agressive cat on my hands. Owner told me not to go near or touch the litter box. The cat is hugely territorial. Basically, I'm there long enough to check his water supply and feed him. I'm not bringing anything in with me other than a large beach towel. And, ready for a quick retreat. He's medicated and hopefully, he'll ignore me.
The next few days are not going to be easy. I just got some more hydra patches to help through the weekend. I used them once before and found that they really helped. My long time clients are headed to Greenland on Thursday. I start overnights next week. Fortunately, I don't have much else going on. I'll be able to sleep in here and there and have a reasonable pace.
Leo - Let us know when you can if you are OK. I know that medication has made you just miserable. And, then there's the FIL situation. Sending support and hugs.

Tried to check in earlier but couldn't sign in. Appointment went ok, she thinks I just have horrendous pms but is going to do an ultrasound to ruke out anything else. She's also checking my thyroid. The ultrasound is scheduled 3 weeks from today. She's also prescribing the birth control where you only have a period every 3 months, which hopefully will help me feel better from not having insomnia 30% of the time. It's possible the birth control Im taking is not fully suppressing my hormones if I'm having pms symptoms for 10 days. Hoping that helps. Plan B is a medication that essentially puts you into menopause, but that has more side effects etc
