It's gonna be one of those weeks, apparently. By the time I got home yesterday I was so wiped out that I gave VanGogh the wrong meds. I pre cut everything because 4 of the meds need to be cut into quarters and 1 is eighths. Two look almost exactly the same, especially when cut, so I just do it ahead of time and put the little pieces in an empty gelatin capsule, which also means I can pill him once and get 5 meds in. The meds he gets in the morning are different than at night, and they're in separate pill organizers that are different colors. Most of the time, this is idiot proof. Luckily all but one of the 5 meds he gets in the morning are safe to give twice daily because he's on a low dose. His clopidogrel is a little concerning because it's a blood thinner. It's not toxic, but if he starts bleeding, it'll be really hard to stop. Luckily no signs of anything this morning and I skipped his meds-it's not super risky to double dose once, but I don't want to lower his heart rate and blood pressure too much either, since they're well controlled on the low dose (this is one reason why it's important to learn what your/your pet's medication actually does...we're pretty good about this, but so many people don't have a clue-write a cheat sheet and keep it with the bottles if you have to, "atenolol-lowers heart rate" is good enough, but ideally include the dose too "1/4 25mg tab once daily"...this could be insanely helpful in an emergency situation)
I'm still exhausted..my period can start any freaking time at this point, then I'll be able to actually sleep. And the past few days we've had terrible air quality from the Canadian fires. Was supposed to be better today but they've extended the air quality alert. I can definitely feel it, especially after running this morning...that may not have been the smartest idea but I need the endorphins. I'll be inside the rest of the day at least, and hopefully it won't be such a crazy day.
I hope everyone is doing ok. Today's cute photo will be puppy smiles from Miki :)

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

The smoke from the wildfires is so bad here. I was just North of where I live and it was so hazy and overcast that I thought it was going to rain. I've been coughing all day and now I have a slight headache. Hoping that clears up now that I'm back inside at home with air cleaners running everywhere.
I managed to get a load of laundry done but that was it today. Other than that, I've been on the road or off of my feet. My car is running beautifully for which I am very grateful.
I'm sorry that you mixed up the meds. I can understand it with not sleeping/feeling well. I can barely dose myself correctly let alone anything else.
I hope that everything in Boston is going OK.
Blue - How are you feeling?
I need to get out of my clothes and try to relax. I woke up at 4 AM and that is making me pretty groggy. Waves!
