Do you think since we have fibro we might suffer longer and take longer to heal from a tooth extraction? Day 4 and I'm still really hurting.

YES I do too. I had my wisdom teeth removed years ago took a very long time and when I had a root canal it was very painful and for a long while. I had to take percocet and ibuprofen to get any relief.

If there is a lot of swelling it could be an infection. I had a bad infection after oral surgery once. I begged the peridontist to give me antibiotics, since I get infections easily. He wouldn't. My face swelled up. Infection.

Yes, but at this point I think you should go back to the dentist and get checked for an infection. Better to be checked out now and find nothing than wait and really have a problem on your hands. Feel better soon!

Thanks everyone I am on antibiotics but am heading back tomorrow for them to take a peek and see if healing is underway!
