One thing that I have put to use are the e-cards that you can send to anyone online. They have some beautiful ones as well as humorous ones. There are a lot of sites that are free. You don't have to spend a penny, you can send them and not worry about if they'll get there on time, and your loved ones won't be forgotten. I've done this for a few years, and everyone really likes them-my family has now done the same thing. Sometimes we each send each other the same card-that's funny. Anyway, you might want to try this-it will help conserve your energy. God Bless. Kathy
My kids don't live at home anymore, but my daughter and grandson usually come to visit at some point. My parents moved here last year so we will be celebrating at their house and I will do what I can do to help with cooking and such but I'm not going to force myself and make myself feel worse, already being so weak.
So no tree, decorations or baking for me. I know how you feel, I feel so crappy that I cannot do these things but the important thing is just being with your loved ones and enjoying the holiday for what it really is. I hope you can relax and know that it's okay, it's not like it's our fault. When we know what is in our hearts, doing those things isn't all that important.
Take care and I wish you all a wonderful holiday.
I put our tree up one night, let my son put on his ornaments another night and I put the few of mine up another night. I did all my Chrsitmas shopping before December so all I have to do is wrap things this month.
I have a hard time doing it so I have really spaced it out this month. I have about maybe 20 things or less to wrap and am just going to do a little here and there this week.
Hope you feel better!
