It's raining (again), supposed to keep going all day. I'm going to Leominster this afternoon to give some cats arthritis injections, which is fairly easy cash that I desperately need. I've spent $700 towards my sister's wedding and bachelorette this year after booking a hotel for the wedding, and there will be more to come. That at least means I'm forced to do something productive today. Probably won't get much else done. This photo of Skadi perfectly illustrates my current mood:

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

I saw my client's cat this morning and then ran a couple of errands. Came home just in time to get the cats in an online queue for a pedicure. I managed to catch Ceilidh who is usually very difficult to manage. I just got back from taking them in.
My partner is back at the new ENT again today. He saw them yesterday. They put a tube in his ear because he has fluid trapped. And, for the third time was told that he needs to get his nose fixed. This morning he woke up in a lot of pain with the ear that has the tube. I really have no patience for any of this. He complains he can't breathe and can't hear. He doesn't listen to what he's told so I'm assuming that there will be a 4th ENT anytime now. He's on my last nerve...can you tell lol.
Day one with my Mom at home went pretty well. She went to PT yesterday afternoon and did amazingly well. Sees her PCP today for a general check up. She and her caretaker seem to be managing OK.
I'm headachy and exhausted. My eyes are so heavy. I have a minor piece of paperwork to do, scan and download it. Past that point, I'm done for the day.
I hope that everyone else is OK. Shoutout to PuppyMom, Bec, AngelaJo, Milily, Blue, LilMissy and JP. Waves!
Opening day for baseball today - yay !!!!!!!! My older brother just left. We had to organize and copy a bunch of my Dads papers to send to my youngest brother . Feels like my brain is going to explode .
Miki - thanks for doing the check in while Leo has been gone. I enjoy the pics of your Kitties. I had a cat that looked just like Karrick when I was growing up , his name was Nicholas.
Fantod - great news that your Mom is home . How nice that she has a caretaker !!
It is supposed to be sunny and warmer tomorrow and I hope to be able to get out and tolerate a walk in nature. I am tired of the March winds and gusts . I have not had a walk since Monday and I can feel it .
Hi to Leo, Bec, Angela, Blue, Lilmissy, Puppy mom , JP
