Hey...I'm LavenderMoon, I'm 37 going on 38. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a year ago or so. I have been having symptoms about 5+ years now... I didn't know it was Fibromyaglia till a new friend said it was a diagnosis of mine even though it wasn't but it made me stop and ask my best friend what hers felt like. This lead to my realizing it sounds so familiar and my mom agreed.

When i was in the ER February 16th 2025, i was being admitted to ICU where i was for 3 weeks, then had to relearn to walk for 3 weeks in another hospital rehab floor, the nurse told me something that made me feel for over 18 months now that i was finally *safe*. She told me that the guy who raped and beat me 21 years ago now almost 20 years at that time, was in prison as of a month before that...

I kind a like you, a friend who has fibromyalgia told me that, based on what I was telling her, it sounded like fibromyalgia. All I knew about fibromyalgia was it’s a chronic pain disease.
I started to read up on it and was flabbergasted by the fact that I had 95% of the symptoms. I went to rheumatologist to rule out rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and it was neither one of those. So I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
